Goal D: Unique & Attractive Communities

A unique and attractive community can be hard to define as what is considered unique or attractive changes from community to community or even person to person. In general a unique community is one that celebrates its own special sense place which comes from its physical design, natural environment, and shared community history. An attractive community is one that promotes a sense of delight and well-being as it is viewed or experienced from the public realm. These communities protect and enhance those things within the community that contribute to its visual appearance and unique sense of place.
